The Dyson V8 Absolute has advanced, whole-machine filtration that captures pet allergens and fine dust, expelling cleaner air. Testing of Dyson V8 Absolute

We bought the Dyson V8 Absolute and have found it very difficult to open the container when it needs to be emptied. Very fiddly to open and seems to be very delicate as we do not want to force it to come apart as it may break. We have had Dyson's in the past and they have been very sturdy and felt strong and smooth to handle. I thought Dyson's were the best vacuum cleaners but Overall very disappointed with this model.

Game changer

I bought this as I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and wanted to swap my traditional corded vacuum with a lighter, easier to use vacuum. I’ve had my Dyson for two weeks and it’s a game changer. Easy to use and I can vacuum for shorter periods without the faff of getting my old vacuum out just to pick up a few bits. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to use

I bought this as a present for my mother, she struggles with arthritis in her hands I’m pleased to say she finds it easy to change the attachments the whole thing easy to use and straightforward to take apart and clean, suction great and not heavy to push around…. The only annoying problem is when you come to empty it over the bin the compartment comes off it’s runner when you lift it up but thankfully she is able to get it back , on it even happens when I do it … otherwise a great hoover .

I don’t like that it takes 5 hours to recharge and don’t like that it doesn’t have a light on the head. As of now not a fan compared to my last plug in vacuum. Felt it had better suction than this Dyson. Think we paid for the name only.

worked great first time, but...

used it once and battery not charging. troubleshot. lights work by no evidence of a charge, i.e., not turning on.

Great bit of kit

Had the cleaner a few weeks now, it's every bit as good as I was expecting, no need now for a mains cleaner as this tackles every job with ease, very well made and terrific suction, would highly recommend
