Sadly, realize - I just bought a glorified, overpriced fan. The filter usage gauge never changes, even when shaking a dusty towel nearby. The remote operation is quirky, not particularly reliable. Nor is the oscillation feature. Additionally, it's not even very quiet. Like my Dyson Stick Vacuum and my Dyson hair tools, but purchasing a Dyson Air Purifier turns out to be an expensive mistake.

I have had trouble with this since the beginning. It really isn't cooling at all so I don't know if it is doing its other function of air purifying. I love the dyson fan i got my daughter years ago that works like a charm, not sure what happened here.

It does not actually cool the air so its basically an air purifier with a fan attached. As a fan it works well up to speed 5 then it is noisier than I had hoped. I do like the remote so I can control it from bed at night. I also like how the angle of the fan adjusts.

Cheap and not worth it
My husband and I have owned over 7 Dyson products over the past 7 years. We have loved every single one. This purifier doesn’t meet the Dyson standards we are used to. This air purifier feels so light in weight, and not very stable at all. It feels like it’s made of the thinnest and most cheap plastic ever. The reach of the fan doesn’t feel very far at all (this is our secondary Dyson fan/air purifier we have in our 200 sq ft room). It doesn’t even connect to my app to show me the air quality readings. Truly disappointed.
