Is Newer really better
I just bought this product is supposed to be Brand New but the box that came in was very beat up an old. My first red flag. I bought this particular fan and waited for it to go on sale because it said it had a higher powered fan that can cool larger rooms. Even at speed 10 it can barely blow a piece of paper. I have an older Dyson fan but smaller end it has better airflow than a bigger one. It also continuously gets disconnected from the net work unlike my other fan that I’ve had for longer.

Good cooling.
I bought this recently & while it works well my only complaint is the electric cord is too short. I’m sure the instructions said not to use an extension cord but it’s not easy to place it next to an outlet so have to use an extension cord.

Best air flow machine I have ever bought
I bought this machine a month ago to move air in my bedroom for a better sleep - it's quiet & I like there are no moving parts (I don't use the oscillator function usually). I really like the wifi connection so I can turn the machine on & off remotely & check air quality metrics. The best unit I have ever bought - can't imagine I will ever buy a conventoinal fan again!

App /Alexa friendly
I will use the air purifier in the heating season with the widows closed most of the time and on the seasons that warrant the windows open I will revert to a regular Dyson fan as the purifier features offered by this fan will be much reduced with the windows opened.Ease of operation/scheduling from the App and Alexa

Magnificent machine
We live in an apartment and the master bedroom although has windows, you cant open any of them. What a difference the Dyson Purifier makes to the quality of the air. Not only clean fresh air, not to mention cooling as well, you can hardly hear the thing operate. Downloaded the Dyson app and i now use my phone to not just control it but offers you information on contaminants that it has filtered out and lets you know when a filter change is required. Great sleek looking unit that works. Highly recommended.
