Great purifier

I bought the air purifier about a month ago, mainly to help with cooking odors which the exhaust fan couldn't eradicate by itself. It has really helped to freshen the air. I keep it set on automatic mode, and it turns on as needed. Quiet operation, too.

Great Air Purifier That Directs Airflow To You

Enjoy having the Dyson Purifier Cool around for its sleek design and app functions. It’s a step up from my previous air purifier without activated carbon. I do generally feel that there’s less odour lingering in the air and reducing the smoke smell when my neighbor burns their offerings. During the day with the windows open, speed 10 noise is bearable, and I can feel the air current from about 5 meters away. Above that, it feels like a light breeze, yes, a dedicated standing fan with a 3-step speed does blow more air, but its job is an air purifier that diverts the air current to you rather than blowing straight up. I like that this air purifier has 10 speed modes as compared to some air purifiers that only have 1, 2, and Boost. With that amount of choice, I can choose the fan speed based on how tolerable the noise the machine makes is in a given scenario. Like speed 6 is decent for an air-conditioned room while working, and 3 is quiet enough for sleeping. The app is great too, simple to use, shows everything at a glance rather than having to cycle through the small display on the purifier, and I could set it from outside the house as well. It is pricey, but try to get it during a big sale or if you are able to stack coupons. It is well worth the money.

Overall a pass

The airflow is less than ideal. Ads/tiktok affiliates doesn’t show it. Sometimes the sound is very high pitched. Good thing is there’s remote access via the app. You can turn it on early to start purifying the air before you gets home.

Noisy

Noisy and not very powerful, my older model had more air flow and i think any regular far has a lot more air flow, it strength is mostly the filtering.

Dyson Air purifier

The filters are amazingly long lasting and keep the noise down great. The air flow does well and good I just wish I didn’t have to set the button down so often to kick the swing mode up on its coverage you know. Overall I like the design. A+ rating.
