Great Product

Best Dyson Vac we have ever had. Excellent suction and light detection.

I bought this 2 weeks ago, I am happy with it but do find it is on the heavy side and a bit cumbersome to use compared to my previous Dyson stick vacuum (which I loved). I do like that it goes for longer before needing to be recharged, together with the separate attachment for carpet. The light on the hard floor attachment is great, it is easier to see where I have been. Overall it performs really well, I just wish it was a bit lighter. My husband loves it!!

This cleaner really sucks!!

Love this cleaner. It does a great job. Only criticism is the handle isn’t very comfortable and the cleaner being quite heavy doesn’t help. Should be moulded to a hand. Other than that it performs extremely well.

Good suction, but unsatisfactory for rugs

I purchased this vacuum several weeks ago. It is great for my carpeted (loop-pile) upstairs, but for my downstairs tiled Kitchen/Dining/Living area where I have two (2) rugs, I am left disappointed of the impossibility of manoeuvring and vacuuming underneath my side cabinets, along with the vacuums heads x 2 apparent inability to operate on rugs, especially the thicker of the rugs. Of course, the vacuum is great to use on my tiled floors and it is great the light shows up all the dirt to vacuum up. But alas, I am finding I have to use both my old vacuum and this new one to complete my cleaning downstairs, which is not really ideal I would suggest.. Perhaps Dyson could work on solving these two important issues.

Great suction performance

Very happy with the vacuums' performance. You can actually see the difference between the cleanliness of the carpet using this Dyson compared with our old machine. Only niggle is not being able to attach the crevice tool to the wand, but, at least, combination tool does, enabling you to reach higher places. You can really see the amount of dirt picked up and it's a doddle to empty.

Lightweight and easy to use.

We love our new Dyson. It works really well on timber floors for pet hair and we love the light that highlights dust. It is lightweight and easy to use.

I bought this two weeks back and happy with the product. Only drawback is that the unit fits loosely on to the wall mounting bracket and the bracket comes out with the unit when lifted out leaving the wall plate back on the wall. My previous Dyson SV12 or S 12 had a perfect fitting wall bracket for charging.

Not as versatile as previous versions.

I bought this in the Black Friday sales. The top of the machine is too heavy. The trigger switch from other versions has been replaced by a tiny on/off button. The hard floor head is way too small (narrow). You do have to replace the carpet head with the hard floor head and vice-versa instead of having a dual purpose head like before. It does have strong suction - very strong ( a plus ). Overall, it is an annoying machine. The head of the machine is much bigger than previous heads, so you will need to move the cradle if you are storing the machine in a cupboard - the machine didn't fit where I had kept both of my previous Dysons. It doesn't glide down the edge of wall as easily as my previous versions. Due to the weight of the machine, I actually put my back out when twisting the machine to reach corners in the bathroom.
