Radio Bombay Eau de Parfum

The fragrance experience is a combination of actual ingredients body chemistry plus individual nasal perception, and it is always interesting to see how it differs for different people. A fleeting whiff of pure coconut, then an interesting warmed /scorched note - I understand the reference to overheated radio components, it is a sort of hot dust slightly scorched cedar underneath (like the overheated dusty air before a storm at the end of a heatwave). I think there is a some ginger in there largely responsiblefor this, but it is very hard to separate this from the whole. On my (male) partner though, the opening is much cooler and fresher, without the impression of heat this produces on me. He also did not detect the same impression of heat from it on me as I did, so I think it that is my sensitivity to ginger which is not a note I like. After 15-20 mins, it was straight cedar on both of us. Another 10 mins or so, and some shy iris starts to peek out but it is still mostly drowned by the cedar. That was the first half. Over the following 30 mins, the iris increases with some indeterminate woody base notes and the cedar recedes, though the cedar never quite goes and remained stronger on my partner. That's pretty much it, after an hour the whole lot dies down and by an hour and a half there is just a whisper left. While I liked the 2nd half, I'm not a fan of the hot dusty cedar that preceded this, and I'm unlikely to buy a fragrance I only enjoy half of. Most of all, the short longevity is dreadful given the price point - if this was a cheap body spray or flanker that would be fine, but not at £70 for 10ml.

One of the best from Durga
I own pistachio, debaser and IDKW from this house, So safe to say I’m a fan. RB is a true sandlwood, creamy and woody and a little spice too. It’s very nice indeed with any vanilla for layering and im excited for warmer weather to see how it performs Then.

Unisex fragrance
Tried this in store and couldn’t stop sniffing my arm the rest of the day so ended up buying a bottle! This is the first time I’ve tried ds and Durga. A true unisex fragrance. I’m a female but my partner could definitely wear this. Good longevity, a few sprays and I can smell it all day. The sandalwood is very strong on me and I find this works best on my skin in hot weather in the summer.

Amazing scent!
Love this scent! Anyone can wear it. Though I do wish it lasted longer throughout the day, it still is worth the purchase!

We're pleased to hear how much the Radio Bombay Eau de Parfum meets your satisfaction! We hope you continue to enjoy this scent!
Love it
I absolutely love this scent, which is unusual for me as I usually go for florals. This is definitely a woody scent, would be suitable for a man too I think. Notes are sandalwood, coco and Iris. The scent lasts for hours. I would definitely buy it again.

Addictive
I came across this whilst in the Edinburgh space nk store. I’ve never heard of this brand before but have to say really like this scent. It starts off quite strong and spicy however settles into a more delicate creamy scent with a slight spice behind it. It’s very unique and slightly addictive. Would love a bottle but will wait until there is an offer on before splurging £150 on a bottle!
