Unimpressed with this

I had a 10ml deluxe size of this, but after a couple of uses I am distinctly unimpressed. It adds a little basic moisturisation and a bit of a (washes off) sheen, but I expect a lot more than that for £125 per 30ml. Looking at the ingredients I see almond oil, glycerin and a little basic hyaluronic acid, so a simple hydrating and moisturising formula. The 'glow' part seems to mainly come from mica and synthetic mica, just like any 'glowy' primer includes. I honestly see no real value here. The two kinds of mica do indeed give a soft pearl sheen to the skin, but this is purely cosmetic and a straightforward glow primer will do the same job for far less. The skincare element here is so basic that a decent primer will include a similar amount anyway, or you could replace it with the cheapest hydrating serum for the same or better effect.

Nothing to write home about

I wanted to love them and I’ve gone through two bottles before I’ve realised they don’t have the same power as other serums with the same MO! These are good to add a bit of a superficial glow but I always find I need another hyalaronic acid on top to get a result of decent hydration. Not worth it in my opinion.

Life changing!

For context, I have had severe eczema on my face for years. I have spent probably thousands on different products, nothing really improved my skin texture where my eczema was. I stopped prescription creams bc my skin grew dependent and got way worse, I’m talking major flake city. Anywho no lie within a week of using this serum my eczema started clearing and now it is nearly gone! (Not even a full month of use) Thank you Dr. Sturm for creating such a great product! I love you my life is changed! I can finally enjoy makeup again. I just restocked can’t wait for it to arrive!

Not a fan

I am not a fan of this serum. It is quite thick and it broke me out on several spots. It is not even giving me a real glow, I could not use it as highlight for sure, it is not enough. It is just very basic serum that does not impress me, does not really do to me what it says and it is crazily expensive.

Fine but the price is unjustifiable

I've been using this from a gift with purchase and it's a perfectly fine glowy primer. Skin will look brightened and it works well to make fuller coverage foundations blend over the skin. You can also use it as a highlighter, it doesn't pill and layers well. However I can't see any reason to justify the price. I would spend that on a serum that was making a noticeable difference to my skin's appearance, not a make-up product. If you can afford it and want it fine, but it won't do anything primers 1/4 of the price will do.

Very basic

I have combination oily skin that tends to be dehydrated. I got a deluxe sample of this product and didn’t check the exact price before starting using it (just knew that it was expensive). Overall, I liked the result of this product on my skin but I can achieve this with similar treatments that times least expensive. My skin was plump, hydrated but not worth the price tag for me.

Too expensive!

I got this in the Ready, Steady Glow Edit and have been really enjoying this. Serum texture that gives you a dewy glow without looking shimmery or too greasy. Perfect for last step in skincare routine on non makeup days. I have used up the bottle and wanted to repurchase, but saw the price. I have a balm type glow stick that does the same for much much less.

Very basic product

I have combination oily skin that tends to be dehydrated. I used this product as a day serum mixing in it different boosters. It worked well as a base. Did I like my skin afterwards? Yes, it looked fresh. Did it do anything spectacular that would warrant this price tag? Not at all. I used a deluxe sample and the packaging was quite frustrating, only small amounts of products would get into it. So overall I liked the results but I get similar results from products that cost 2, 3 or even 4 times less than this.
