A two-in-one cleansing foam and exfoliator, particularly ideal for oily and combination skin.

  • What It Does

    The fine-grained powder transforms into a soft foam once water is added, providing a deep yet gentle cleanse and exfoliation. A collection of enzymes works together to loosen the conjunctions between dead skin cells, helping to peel away dry and rough skin, remove makeup and reduce excess sebum from pores. The skin will appear revitalized and smooth instantly after cleansing.

  • How To Use It

    Use 2 or 3 times a week to supplement your daily cleansing routine. Those with oily skin can use the cleanser once a day, while those with sensitive skin can incorporate the treatment into their skincare routine 1-2 times a week. To use, place a coin-sized amount of the powder in the palm of your hand. Then add a little warm water and work up into a gentle foam. Smooth generously over your face (add more water if necessary to develop a soft foam), then rinse off.

Excellent Product!

I love this cleanser because it’s so effective but it’s also the least abrasive exfoliant I’ve ever tried. Plus, one bottle will last f o r e v e r since there’s no water in the formula. When I want a grittier texture (a la dermalogica microfoliant) I add less water but usually I let the enzymes do the work!

Instant glow up!

I love this stuff. I use it probably twice a week as daily would be too much for me but the glow it leaves behind is great. It’s quite gentle and gives fresh glowing skin. Using twice a week means the bottle has lasted for forever as you only need a small amount.

Not for me

I love a good enzyme cleanser and I like the fact that this one is in powder form which you add water to… but my skin reacted really badly to it. My skin was red and raw after using this, and it took a week for my skin to recover. Although my skin was smooth after using it, the product was not good for my skin and damaged the skin barrier.

Really love this

The Dr Barbara Sturm Enzyme Cleanser is a favourite of mine. When you add water it creates a beautifully thick and creamy cleanser / exfoliator. I only use it a couple of times a week, but I find it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts for ages.

Refreshing and effective cleanser

I love Barbara Sturm products, but wasn't sure what to think of a cleanser that it actually a powder. But it is very easy to use, it lathers up beautifully, and the skin feels very clean after without feeling stripped.

Not impressed

Enzyme powder cleansers have been around for some time and are ideal for those looking for gentle exfoliation without the harshness of scrubbing. I have mixed feelings about this product. While I find it pleasant to use and notice that my skin feels smoother and cleaner afterwards, I don’t believe it provides enough benefits to justify regular use. Additionally, it is quite expensive for what it delivers. I don’t plan to repurchase it anytime soon.
