What It Is

A fragrance gesture inspired by the enfleurage technique used in times past to capture the scent of flowers. Its alcohol-free wax is a scented balm that is applied with the fingertips, to reveal the green, milky and subtly woody accents of Philosykos.

  • What It Does

    In a new case decorated with color illustrations, this solid perfume is now refillable, for a gesture that's both portable and eco-responsible.

    The fragrance gestures draw their inspiration from the history of perfume, reinventing textures to offer a new approach to personal scenting. It is a way to make the invisible sensual, and the ethereal tangible. each of the gestures--eau de toilette, body mist or body balm--has a specific concentrate designed to offer the best olfactory rendering depending on its formulation. With its high concentration, it can be used alone depending on the moment and the mood. Matter becomes scent, scent becomes matter.

  • How To Use It

    For greater diffusion, apply the solid perfume on your pulse points, where your body gives off the most heat: On your wrists and inside your elbows, at the base of your neck, behind your ears and your décolleté.

    Once the perfume has been used up, reload the case with a solid perfume refill.

Perfect bit of luxury

Got this to add a bit of luxury to my bathroom, I wanted a different scent in each bathroom but a reed diffuser was risky as I didn't want to knock it over in my small bathroom, so this was a perfect alternative. I smells so good, but isn't overpowering.

Beautiful scent but more skin scent than the EDT

I’ve enjoyed wearing Diptyque Philosykos Solid Perfume—it has such a lovely, fresh fig scent with green, woody notes that feel natural and calming. However, I’ve noticed that the silage is much weaker compared to the Eau de Toilette. While the fragrance itself is beautiful and subtle, it doesn’t last as long or project as strongly, which can be a bit disappointing if you’re used to the stronger presence of the EDT. That said, it's a great option for a more intimate, close-to-the-skin scent if you don’t mind reapplying throughout the day.

Great to partner with the perfume

I already used the perfume for some time before seeing the wax version online. As I love the scent, I wanted to give the wax version a try. The wax smells identical so it’s a nice complimentary step or can be used as a standalone. I use the Eau de Perfume as well as the wax version and very pleased with the ease of use. The wax version applies easily and doesn’t stain clothes. I have also been using it with other perfumes to do layering, really pleased with the flexibility of use. The metal case is very heavy so some might find it not practical to carry in handbags.

Unique fragrance

Somehow this fig solid perfume doesn’t smell fruity. It’s more of a warm, creamy yet fresh take on figs. It’s the perfect summer scent and lasts surprisingly well. I love the design of the compact and I love the fact it’s refillable. The compact itself is actually quite weighty and feels very luxurious. Great to pop in your handbag and even better for traveling!

Fresh and Light

The delicate scent of fig is cleverly made to last throughout the whole day. I am amazed by how long the scent lasts as it has such a fresh and light smell. I originally bought this for me, it has become popular in my family so I will now be repurchasing for my Mum. This works beautifully all season round and its packaging makes it great for travelling.

Nice

This Diptyque in solid perfume in the Philosykos scent - The packaging is exquisite and feels like a precious artifact. It's definitely something that I'd want to collect. The scent itself is fantastic too – really good. Overall, I'm very impressed with this product.

Love it!

I gave in and purchased this for myself recently. The decorated case is just so beautiful, I love it! The perfume itself, is a really lovely scent and lasts really well on the skin. Perfect for popping in your handbag or hand luggage for holidays and I love that it is easily refillable.
