Awful packaging

When I buy an item this expensive, I expect safe and secure packaging. This arrived in a soft bag (not a sturdy box) with barely any protection for the garment. I’ve bought $100 coats from other stores that were better packaged. I even received a $300 jacket from Bloomingdale’s that was more securely packaged. As to the coat, it was nice but I don’t think the shearling is as soft as fur. I needed a warm coat with fur or shearling that’s the same color as the coat and I decided on this one. Truefit suggested a size Large. But I have a Dawn Levy coat in that size that I can’t zip up. So I took the XLarge. It was a good fit except that the arms were a bit too large. Overall fit is good. However, in view of the packaging, I don’t think I’ll buy an item this expensive from Bloomingdale’s again.
