Large Backing Size

these are my 2nd x stud earrings from David Yurman. The earring itself is beautifully crafted. I love two toned jewelry as it compliments everything. the reason why i’m giving this 3 stars is because of the backing. the backing is nearly 2x the size of standard earring backings. when not worn, the backing is larger than the earring itself. my first pair had a standard size backing. i’m not sure why they changed it.

I have been looking at these earrings for a long time, and finally purchased them. They are the classic gold and silver Yurman jewelry that I love. Most importantly, they're very light and I can hardly feel their presence on my ears. These studs just look great!
