And unfortunate purchase

I purchased these about a year and a half ago and I wear them on occasion not every day just sometimes. I took them out of their pouch in my jewelry box yesterday and noticed that they tarnished. Which is surprising because they are supposed to be 18 karat gold, which is not supposed to tarnish. Needless to say I’m not very pleased with my David Yurman purchase.
