About The Collection

As a sculptor, David is constantly reconsidering form. David Yurman's Sculpted Cable evolved as an artistic rendering of the signature Cable design, playing with perspective by transforming the original helix into a carved relief. The resulting design's wave-like patterns echo Cable's contoured shape, with graceful curves that, as David notes, resemble a figural form found in nature, often referred to as "the line of beauty" for its elegant proportions. "Sculpted Cable is like a bas relief where the design is carved into the surface, dramatically capturing the way light moves across metal."
