Pretty Top but does not fit right

I am typically a small or medium in tops depending the fit. I ordered the medium in this after seeing reviews that it ran small. I am just able to button it and since I am 5'5 the straps are slightly too big. I will note it is still wearable for me though. It is like a needed a small in the straps and a large in the chest for it to fit like the model. It is a pretty top but I would not purchase for full price unless you are able to try it on and it fits perfectly, as it seems like it may be a hit or miss depending your body type.

Purchased L, runs very very small, returned- Bloomingdale LOST ITEM AND DIS NOT REFUND ME.
