LIKE that we use way less coffee grounds w/the BOLD option & still have Louisiana strong coffee! This is the reason I am keeping it. With regular coffee pots, we use 1 heaping scoop of coffee grounds per 2 cups of H2O. With this coffee pot on bold setting, we use 1 flat scoop of coffee grounds per 4 cups of H20. That's a huge difference! Our Cuisinart coffee maker that this one is replacing and will be in my shop, is 1 flat scoop of coffee per 3 cups of water. DISLIKE that on the bold setting, for some reason, SOMETIMES, the grounds flow above the filter which then goes into the coffee pot & into our cup. Yuck! I've tried using only the netted filter that comes with the pot, only cone shaped paper filters and only round paper filters when brewing. It has done it with all of them BUT, not every time. Today was one of those yuck times. The paper filter was perfectly alined, just as they have been during perfect brewing.

Functional and pleasing to the eye.
Well done Cuisinart! Functional and asteticly pleasing. The right sided pot brewing is much easier to fill. Additionally, the brewing speed is pretty impressive. The single cup brewing is great too for everything from water for hot chocolate to a cup of sleepy time tea. The dark stainless looks great on the counter. Because let's face it, if you drink coffee on the daily this thing is living permanently on the counter.

Easy to use for single cup or 12 cups!
I love being able to setup the auto brew feature so my coffee is ready when I wake up. Being able to brew an entire pot or a single K-Cup is what I love most. It’s very easy to setup and use.

Coffee Center Convenience
Single cup works great. Make sure the main carafe is seated securely on its tray or the coffee grounds and water will flood.

Cuisinart makes the best coffee makers!
Great coffee maker!!! I like my coffee strong. My wife not so much. I use the single cup side while my wife can make a carafe of her own. Haven’t used the iced coffee feature as we are experiencing extreme cold temperatures. Can’t wait to try it this summer.

Flexible and quick
The Single serve has more serving size choices than the old model we have and it dispenses coffee quicker than the Keurig model we used for a few months
