CUISINART OVER- THE- SINK- COLANDER
Considering the product was advertised and sold on the Bloomingdale website, it arrived in an improperly sealed box. The colander handles wobble and is not sturdy. I can anticipate the colander will collapse in the sink when hot pasta is dumped into it to drain(for everyday use) inside of it. This product is a massive disappointment, and there are substantially better colanders at a lower cost! I would not repurchase this item! I expected a high-quality, heavier stainless steel colander that would last a lifetime, and I will be surprised if this one does not break in a year or less. I bought a similar colander from a different, lesser-known brand that did not last six months. I thought this would be an upgrade, but it does not appear to be better; it has a well-known brand name but appears to be the same low-quality junk sold under a brand that used to be high quality. I would not repurchase this item. I would have known not to buy this item if I had been in the store.

Seems high quality. Best to dry in upright position to let water drain from arm sheaths.

Yes, it is a good strainer
Very handy to use for washing salad greens, etc and also fruits and veggies. Nice size so I can wash the lettuce, fresh spinach leaves, and arugula in the strainer at one time. It has little feet on it so you could leave it inside the sink to drain your pasta or potato’s. Just push the handles in. Easy to clean and I leave it to dry over the sink. After it’s all dried, I push the handles in and put it away. Glad I finally bought myself this over the sink strainer!

good strainer.
very large over the sink strainer. This is great for salad preparation and washing fruits and veggies. I do not think I would trust this apparatus with pouring a pot of hot pasta into it. it drains well with all the hole.
