What It Is

An automatic eyeliner pencil in richly pigmented shades for instant intensity.

  • What It Does

    Glides on. Smudges to a smooth blur of color with the convenient smudge tool on the opposite end. Needs no sharpening. Silky formula is always ready to line and define with ease. Stays on all day.

  • How To Use It

    • Swivel up only 1/8-inch (pencil does not retract to avoid exposing formula to air, which is drying).
    • Line eyes.
    • Use the tool on the opposite end to gently smudge color to desired effect.
    • Allow color to set for 60 seconds to ensure transfer-resistance. Recap securely after using to protect the silky formula.
    • Can be used alone or over eye shadow.
    • Remove with your favorite Clinique eye makeup remover.

Excellent eyeliner

Love this eyeliner! The Intense Ivy color brings out my brown eyes, yet doesn’t scream green at all. It is easy to use and applies smoothly. True to Clinique products there is no irritation to my sensitive eyes.

Love the Aubergine. Intense not so intense.

I love the Aubergine Intense. I bought “Intense” by accident because I liked the Aubergine color. I am 62, and would probably have been afraid to buy anything called “intense”, haha. But it seems no more intense than the regular Plum that I bought later. This is a nice smooth and creamy eyeliner. It goes on easy and never smudges or moves all day. I have stopped wearing foundation (less is more when you’re older) and only wear this plus mascara and brow filler. I use it daily and haven’t run out yet, seems to last quite a while.

My favorite eye liner

My favorite eyeliner, I have very sensitive eyes. This one doesn't make my eyes, red or burn and it goes on smoothly and the color is intense.
