This face mask’s texture is thick and quite dry, making it difficult to apply. I find that it does not get absorbed into the skin even when using a thin layer. Unfortunately, I have not noticed any of the benefits this mask claims including the basic hydration/ moisturising effect. There are better alternatives in the same price range.

Beautiful
This is a beautiful product leaving a lovely glow to the skin the only reason I gave this product 4* instead of 5 is because of the price point it’s not a product I would buy all the time. But it’s a lovely product. If you looking for pure luxury then this is definitely your mask but I have purchased other masks a lot cheaper that have been just as effective.

A golden glow
I love Chantecaille and after trying the Gold Serum, I tried a sample of the Gold Recovery Mask from my lovely Marlborough store. Again, this is super from Chantecaille. You apply a very light layer to the skin, then personally, I leave it on overnight (it’s so expensive, you may as well get the maximum from it). In the morning, the skin is more refined and just looks so healthy. I have sensitive skin and I’ve had no problems with this at all. It is expensive but so nice to treat yourself. Ideal application is with a mask brush - you don’t use as much as when you use your fingers and it spreads better.

Beautiful, the only downside is price!
I received a sample of the Chantecaille Gold Recovery Mask and I was delighted to try a product I'd probably would never have tried, due to the price point. The mask is absolutely luxurious, rich and buttery, goes on the skin beautifully and is absorbed quickly. The gold particles are a little odd on my olive complexion so I rinsed it off after 20 minutes, as suggested in the instructions. My skin was left supple, nourished and properly recovered (I had used an exfoliant product before). I want to try using it overnight too. It's a treat for the skin: if you can afford it, I can highly recommend it.

Lovely
I received a sample of this. This is a fantastic mask, amazing, It’s rich and luxurious, Application lovely . My skin was very glowy and hydrated the next morning. Definitely a real treat, very expensive but worth it . I recommend this product .!!!!!

Fantastic mask but too expensive for me
I had the opportunity to use a sample of this mask and I was so impressed. My skin felt refreshed, nourished and glowing afterwards. The mask felt great and rich to put on as well. I wish it wasn't so expensive because I would have bought a full size.
