Was I sent an empty bottle

I bought this cream recently for my upcoming trip to keep it handy in my purse However it’s very hard to squeeze it out of the bottle and hardly any cream comes out. I’m thinking maybe I was sent a used bottle? The box where the cream comes in had no wrapping and anyone could open it and use the cream. So, I’m disappointed to say the least.
