Shipping issue

Purchased two of the same item. Only one item came within the package. I immediately reported this to Bloomingdale’s and the claim was entered then denied quickly. I called again and a second claim was entered for review. It is now taking even longer and the item was purchased as a gift and will not be here on time. I am out money and an item and now having difficultly obtaining the item I ordered or getting a refund so I can drive an hour to the nearest store to purchase it, in person. I am very unsatisfied with the ordering process and will no longer be ordering items online and I will be sure to let others know the same caution. All representatives were nice on the phone to deal with this issue. But it’s extremely unsettling that I feel as if the product and my money are being held from me just so someone can try to find out who packed my order and made the mistake …
