Soft hand feel and drape, lapel pops up

I liked the way this silky fabric draped, but the coat's V did not lay well. It looked like the lapel was popping up on me, and pressing it would not have changed the shape. I was also wary of the color because I know that lavender like that tends to photograph quite differently than it looks in reality. That was definitely true for this blazer. The color was not the exquisite one you see in the photos, but something grayer and drab.
