What It Is

The BodyWaver Large Wave Styler is a double-barrel heat styling tool that delivers fast volume and perfect waves that last. Features 1.25" barrels with a higher ceramic content to deliver instant and consistent heat, built-in styling timer and multiple heat settings.

  • What It's For

  • What It Does

    - Styles hair into perfect 1.25" waves with double-barrel plates.
    - Built-in styling timer indicates how long to hold each wave.
    - Fusion Technology combines ionic and ceramic properties for less frizz and more shine.
    - Three heat settings (320°F, 360°F, 400°F).
    - 7' swivel cord.
    - Built-in styling timer.
    - Ceramic coated plates.
    - Temperature/timer display.
    - Lock/unlock switch.
    - 1-hour auto shut-off.
    - American 2-prong plug.
    - Dual voltage/voltage up to 240 V.

  • How To Use It

    - Use on dry hair only.
    - Remove plastic cap, plug in device, then hold in power button to turn on.
    - Use the Temperature Adjust Button to choose desired temperature.
    - Allow 1 minute to heat up.
    - Before styling, use the Styling Timer Button to determine how long to hold each wave (4, 6 or 8 seconds).
    - Take a section 2" wide by 1" thick and brush through.
    - Starting closest to the scalp, press BodyWaver down on your section and hold until the tool beeps.
    - Open the BodyWaver, move down your section and repeat. Do not overlap onto already styled sections.
    - Continue until you make your way to ends.
    - Reveal for perfectly uniform waves.

    Styling Tips:
    - For natural-looking beachy waves, style 1" wide sections of hair at a time.
    - For classic, uniform waves, style 2" wide sections of hair at a time.
    - Choosing a styling time: Recommendation is 4 seconds for a loose wave, 6 seconds for a classic, natural-looking wave and 8 seconds for a strong, defined wave.
    - Choosing a heat setting: Recommendation is to style fine, chemically treated hair at 320°F, regular, non-resistant hair at 360°F and coarse, resistant hair at 400°F.

Waves go on & on

Love, Love, Love the Calista Bodywaver Large Wave Styler. 1st off, the aesthetics. . . The Lavender color is Beautiful. The Waver weighs about 13 oz (Great weight if you are traveling too) I have shoulder issues at times. The weight does not bother me. I've got longer hair, sits about 4 -5 inches past my jawline. 2nd, the Results. OH MY GOODNESS. It takes me about 30 or so, to do my whole head. Soo worth it!! My co-workers thought I went to the Salon & had it done <3 I use the waver & then set with hairspray, after each layer/section. The waves look great, for about 4 days total. (I use dry shampoo on my roots, on days 3 & 4) 3rd the technology/usability of the Waver. . unmatched. I love the different heat settings, the timer functionality. (In order for the timer to start, Waver needs to be fully opened. Or it does not reset) Overall, the Calista Bodywaver Large Wave Styler is a huge win for me. Gives beautiful waves. Wonderful way to mix up for my day to day hair styling.

Obsessed! Beach Waves all Summer

This was my first experience with a bodywaver and I’m so pleased with it! Taking the Calista BodyWaver out of the box is an experience in itself- it’s gorgeous! Us girly girls love to have products that reflect our style and personality and the stunning shade of light purple that this comes in is a total plus. I noticed the shimmery finish on the hot plates- which I loved as well. This is pretty simple and straight forward to use. There are 3 main buttons- power button, temperature button and even a little timer button. Once you clamp a section of your hair between the hot plates, hold it until you hear a little beep! That lets you know it’s time to move down to the next section of your piece of hair. I used the default setting but I’m guessing the time button allows you to customize when that little *beep* reminder goes off. I also love the little ridged rubber pads on either side of the BodyWaiver to allow your hands a comfortable place to rest if you like to hold your hair super tight between those plates. Let’s talk results! As mentioned I am new to using a product like this- but for a newbie I think my hair came out lovely!! I would say it is easier to use the BodyWaver than to straighten your hair and when you get it right the waves look beautiful and held in my hair through the day :) I will be using this all summer for a fun beach look :)

Not really sure yet. Doesn't

Not really sure yet. Doesn't seem to work on the hair on the back of my head. My hair is gray mostly white. Was thick once but with chemo has changed to thin and fine. Works on sides nor the back.

Awesome!!

Fantastic tool
