Disappointed in size consistency

I was very disappointed in the C by Burlington cashmere crewneck sweaters. One had a hole in the R sleeve. For the others, there was little consistency in sizes. A Large blue swam on me- a pink medium was too tight! I had to try on every single sweater. I couldn’t just find one medium that fit, then keep the mediums I liked. Or a large, and keep all the Large ones. It was very annoying and time consuming to try on all he sweaters. Unfortunately, most of them are going back
