    In the xeric wilderness of the Mojave desert, trees and vegetation more ancient than many civilizations defy conditions that prey on human vulnerability. The ghost flower is a rare species that dares to blossom above this baked, hard ground. Despite its arid surroundings and inability to produce nectar, the ghost flower, or mohavea confertiflora, maintains its perfect, majestic beauty and thrives year after year.

    In an astonishing feat of ingenuity, the flower uses mimicry to attract the pollinators of a neighboring plant species by developing markings that resemble those of a female bee genus attracted to its subject and duping the male bee into following suit. This moving, human-like behavior and captivating tale of survival lies in the foundation that inspired 'Mojave Ghost', an homage to this most bewitching flower.

Classic and beautiful

This is one of my favorite scents. It’s light but impactful in my opinion. Woody and musky on me, but I know fragrance differs from person to person. It’s definitely long-lasting and just feels like a classic, elevated everyday scent. I have a full bottle of byredo, and the bottle is beautiful. This is a great fragrance line!

Nice for everyday

Mojave Ghost is a subtle sweet yet musky scent. Hint of powder that's not overwhelming. Didn't last all day, but by until about midday. Recommended for an everyday perfume.

Great every day

Byredo Mojave Ghost is a really nice unisex fragrance. It’s light, clean, and kind of ambiguous in a good way. I can’t totally pin it down, but on me it reads like a soft mix of musk with a little citrus and airy woods. It feels super wearable and “everyday” without being boring, and I get why it’s a cult favorite. Honestly, if this scent came as a body wash, lotion, or even a hair care line, I’d buy it immediately. It has that super fresh, just-showered vibe that would be perfect in those formats. As a perfume, though, I’ll admit there’s a lot of this clean-fresh style on the market right now. My only gripe is that I received a sample size. It’s hard to fully enjoy (and review) a fragrance when you don’t get the full bottle experience, because the packaging and overall aesthetic is part of what makes it fun. That said, I am enjoying the sample and I’ve reached for it more than I expected.

Beautiful scent but doesn't last

I loved this versatile scent. It was clean but fresh sewing. The downfall for this was that I could only smell it on myself for a couple hours and then it seemed like it completely wore off.
