    In the xeric wilderness of the Mojave desert, trees and vegetation more ancient than many civilizations defy conditions that prey on human vulnerability. The ghost flower is a rare species that dares to blossom above this baked, hard ground. Despite its arid surroundings and inability to produce nectar, the ghost flower, or mohavea confertiflora, maintains its perfect, majestic beauty and thrives year after year.

    In an astonishing feat of ingenuity, the flower uses mimicry to attract the pollinators of a neighboring plant species by developing markings that resemble those of a female bee genus attracted to its subject and duping the male bee into following suit. This moving, human-like behavior and captivating tale of survival lies in the foundation that inspired 'Mojave Ghost', an homage to this most bewitching flower.

Doesn’t last

Byredo Mojave Ghost is a beautifully soft, woody-floral scent that feels effortlessly elegant and unique. I love how subtle and airy it is—but unfortunately, it doesn’t last long on my skin. I find myself reapplying often, which is a shame for such a gorgeous fragrance.

So fresh and so clean, clean!

Byredo fragrances are gorgeous - so fresh and so clean. I have a few perfumes from the collection already and this is definitely my favourite! The perfume is suitable for all due to both feminine and masculine notes. The perfume longevity is excellent, I am tempted to buy the perfume oil to carry around with me!

Beautiful scent and no limonene

I am allergic to Limonene and have only discovered a handful of scents that have no Limonene in them since my allergy was diagnosed 5 years ago. The first one I discovered was ‘Inflorescence’ a beautiful floral fragrance by Byredo. A generous and thoughtful friend did the homework and found that ‘Mojave Ghost’ by Byredo also has no Limonene in and gave it to me for Christmas. I was addicted from the moment I opened it, and now have two fabulous scents I can wear … and have topped myself up using SpaceNK’s amazing 20% off periodic deal together with my loyalty points.

Floral scent

Byredo generally offers beautiful fragrances, and this one falls right into the category I enjoy. It’s floral, sweet, and has a creamy muskiness to it. To me, it leans more feminine, but of course, anyone can wear whatever they love. The scent has good lasting power without being overpowering, and while the sillage isn’t huge, it’s definitely present. If you’re into floral, sweet, and creamy scents, this one’s definitely worth trying.

I received a sample from last year's SpaceNK fragrance pop-up (which I also recommend attending) and have been obsessed ever since. This is a great "clean girl" scent, but with a bit more of an edge than Blanche (for example). More juicy/berry-like, perhaps.
