What It Is

The BYREDO candles are all unique scents created for fragrancing the room and home. The candles are handmade in France using mouthblown glass and cotton wicks. Even though each fragrance has a specific wax formulation, they all come in signature black wax.

The best scent ever

This is my go to candle. It makes the perfect gift, smells amazing, and I love having my house smell like it. It’s very classic and cosy, and has such a warm and inviting smell, which doesn’t overpower anything. It burns quite well, and maintenance of the candle is super easy as the wick comes pre-cut which is helpful when first burning.

classic for a reason

this has a real reputation in candle communitites and with good reason. it's unusual, has many different layers. It's a hard to define scent in my opinion. there's an overall sweetness, evoking times past, some papery-powderyness but lots of depth... I would say this standard size is definitely best value as the small ones burn very fast

this is such a cult classic and with good reason. it's so unusual, with different layers and a hard to define scent in my opinion. overall a sweetness, an evocation of times past, some papery-powderyness but lots of depth... one star removed coz the small ones burn v fast.

Stunning smelling candle

A bit of a splurge but worth it because this candle smells absolutely incredible. If you’re a fan of the Biblioteque perfume you will love this! It’s fills up the room with this scent nicely, and makes it feel cosy and luxurious.

Expensive but worth it

Byredo is an expensive candle option but this one is an all time classic. It’s super chic with the black wax and smells divine. I love burning this candle in autumn, the smell of leather and patchouli make this candle such a warming scent. It’s lingers without being overpowering and has the right balance of sweetness and musk, a winner for anyone.

Perfect gift

I love Byredo candles - the scent always unique and different and really does fill the room with great burning time. I was getting this as part of a selection of mini treats as a gift and it’s the perfect size for that! Need to buy for myself next time.

Wow

such a beautiful luxurious smell. It smell so expensive I absolutely love it. Gives of such a strong scent. I love the packaging and the style of the candle. I will re use the candle jar for something else once the candle is burned down. Would love to try out some of the other scents they have i think they will all smell lovely.

Lovely candle

I love this candle and it’s the second time I’ve purchased. It evokes the comforting ambience of a library or study. The scent is luxurious, warm and inviting. It is really high quality and looks beautiful. It burns slowly so it lasts. I loved the scent so much that I have also bought the perfume.
