I'm normally a big fan of anything By Terry but somehow I could not get on with the Hyaluronic Hydra Primer. I had quite a bit of pilling once I applied other make up products on top. This may be down to user error but I don't normally have this experience with primers.

I received this sample from SpaceNK and was already a bit of a convert to some by terry products-however, that was some years ago and my skin has changed.I liked this but really didn’t want to mattifying effect.I think I have been so pleased with even my screen queen factor 50 giving a bit of a mini glow up that I look a bit ghostly with anything matte these days. I think it would be great for folk with oilier skin or younger skin but when you hit 58 it’s a different look hence dropping face powder years ago.

I received a sample of this with an order. This primer offers up a blurring and matte effect. A small amount is the best approach to prevent pilling if applying makeup on top. It's smooth and easy to apply but rather expensive - so not sure I would actually purchase full size.

I have combination skin but it leans more to the drier side, particularly around my eyes and cheeks. I found this primer to be very good at smoothing my skin, absorbing shine on my t-zone, and helping makeup to grip and stay, however it was a little too matifying for my cheeks and around my eyes, where it felt a little drying. I would use this more on my t-zone and a different primer on cheeks and eyes.

This primer does what it promises: it smooths and hydrates the skin and helps makeup go on more evenly. The finish is luminous without oily shine, which I like. However, I didn’t find it prolonged my makeup wear significantly, and it doesn’t feel notably better than some more affordable primers I’ve used. A pleasant product, but not indispensable in my routine.

I’ve never used this brand before and I was pleasantly surprised. A little goes a long way, I just use one pump on my t zone and that works well before foundation. I’ve been using for a few weeks and the tube has barely gone down. It’s not my favourite primer but it does the job and for the small amount needed per use is decent value for money
