Great machine but the elbow connector failed after three years

Excellent machine! The wand can be a bit difficult to clean but the machine is amazing. Brews a great espresso and haven't bought a latte at at Starbucks in three years. However an elbow connector did seperate inside the machine and caused leaking. Had to order a part to replace it and it's a common issue on found on Reddit.

An amazing espresso machine…but

I bought this for my wife a month ago to replace our Nespresso machine. It brews great coffee. Only issue, which I feel is a big one is the storage tray behind the water tray always fills up with water also, making it not usable for storage.

Love my Barista Pro

I had been searching the internet for the perfect espresso machine and I am so happy I found the Barista Pro. I absolutely love it! I love how quickly the water heats. The storage tray is very helpful and I love making lattes and iced lattes every day. I love it a Latte!

Returned from repair with issue

6 months after purchasing, the frother got an air block. I sent it back to Breville for repair. First use after the repair, the motor sounded like it was about to blow up. I have not yet had a chance to call in again.

Works nicely except not hot enough

I am honestly not thrilled with the Barista Pro -- I also own a less expensive Barista Express as a comparison. The Barista Pro does not require pre-heating, but it also does not achieve water temperature sufficiently hot for best coffee brewing. But I do recommend the Barista Express! I would prefer this review not be posted to the public.

Thank you for your review and feedback. Because the machine heats water to 200 degrees F internally, the resulting shot will be +/-160-170 F. To ensure the hottest shot, the internal tubing, solenoid valve, brew head, portafilter, filter basket and mug need to be preheated. This can be done by simply pulling a blank shot, meaning running hot water through an empty filter/portafilter into the mug. That hot water will preheat everything. Then, you'll completely dry the filter/portafilter, and proceed with preparing and pulling your shot.
