Love! Love! Love!
I love my new Breville! I chose this one because it has option of regular (Americano) coffee also. My husband thinks it’s the best he’s ever had. We are so happy with it. I was a little overwhelmed when I first unpacked the box but it turned out to be very easy to use.

Worst machine ever the grinder stop grinding and coffee tested like water I should have sticked with my Delonghi brand but everyone saying try breville Not happy at all

Machine refused to work
Bought one that came in just yesterday, grinder refuses to grind fine and the gear to select grounds was incredibly hard to turn. The machine also refused to pour any coffee.

BEWARE DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. What was once a wonderful company has turned into a SCAM. The Breville representatives claim their machines have a lifespan of 7–10 years; however, BEWARE: THE MACHINE WILL BREAK in about 2–3 years. At that point, you will be left with an expired warranty and be out $1,000 for the machine. If you manage to get a representative to offer a courtesy repair service, please be warned: THEY DO NOT GUARANTEE THEY WILL FIX MACHINES AFTER THE CUSTOMER SENDS THEM IN FOR SERVICE—MINDBLOWING. After sending my machine in for repair, it had the same problems upon unboxing. When notifying Breville of the issue, they claim that Breville does not promise to fix problems while the machine is in service (Why send it in then?). Most importantly, please be warned that the seals in the machine frequently go bad, leading to reduced pressure and an inability to pull shots. Additionally, as shared by their representative, the grinder has a known issue of breaking, rendering the machine unusable.

Comments on Instruction Book
I thought the instructions for making cappuccino were not clear. 1. The instruction book doesn’t tell us how to combine the ground coffee and the textured milk. It seems rather obvious (and now is) to grind the coffee and then place the jug of textured milk under the Group Head, but it did take a while to figure that out. 2. The book says to fill the milk jug “to below the spout position.” But the jug has a “max” line. That seems inconsistent. 3. Also it would be helpful if the max and min lines were inside the jug not on the outside of the (non-transparent) jug.

better than expected
First espresso machine of this caliber and no regrets! Its easy to dial in your perfect cup of coffee. Needed to review lots of YouTube videos for the proper grind and pressing the puck but after that it was easy going. Its fun trying different styles of coffees. Now only if this thing could automatically make the artwork out of the frothy milk.

Great Machine and Took Advantage of Sale!
Love this espresso maker - we got the blue color and it really looks great in our gray and stainless steel kitchen. Nice pop of color. Ended up getting this on sale and so really feel like we got a bargain - excellent machine!
