Best coffee maker

2nd purchase of this coffee maker, I love Breville. Wish my 1st had lasted forever but there is a end to everything.

Perfection

I was apprehensive about this coffee maker due to some of these reviews. But after purchasing this I couldn't be happier it is hands down the greatest coffee maker I have ever had. It's simple to set ...the coffee is extremely hot however the temperature is adjustable it's beautiful and it makes my regular coffee tastes like a five-star hotel coffee. Wish I had found this sooner!! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fantastic tasting cup of coffee don't hesitate this machine is perfect in every way

GOOD COFFEE GRIND & BREW ARE BECOMING A LUXURY!

The coffee maker work well making good tasting coffee! Trying to get the clock on the right time however is a feat I have not yet been able to make work, the button that I am supposed to use by the grinder is not functioning properly and is very hard to turn.

Single Cup Brew not hot enough

This carafe is my third Breville coffee maker. I was satisfied with the purchase. However, after 9 months, I started to notice my single cup brew temp is warm and once I added cream I will need to use microwave to warm my coffee which before it wasn’t. I read several reviews and it was noticed by other users. Could you please let me know what is wrong or how to fix it?

Our Best Home Brewed Coffee ...

The machine is styled classically with the substantial feel you hope for when investing in high end appliances. My wife and I are rather pedestrian in our coffee tastes, so we've not tried all the options. We are enjoying the Gold setting, and using the different baskets and relating to cup sizes. The coffee brews quickly and arrives hot. We are having none of the issues I've read elsewhere about the carafe and it's pouring speed. We tried high end coffee makers years and years ago and had little luck with durability and found little difference in taste. As a result, we've used bargain brands for many years and found our "good" coffee at our favorite restaurants. Now, it's waiting for us when we get out of bed!

Great when it works, been replaced twice

Great tasting coffee maker. Options allow you to dial in your coffee to exactly how you like it. The unit has had to be replaced twice in three months. When I replaced the second time I was given all the wrong info and it took over a month to get my unit back. I had to go purchase a separate coffee maker to use while this one gets repaired. If unit fails a third time it will be going into trash.

Great Coffee BUT…the design of the top is flawed

On my second top due to a poor design and still having the same frustrating problems. Almost every time I poor coffer out of the carafe, it does not flow freely and you must prime the spring loaded top to get it flowing at a decent rate. Second, on several occasions the coffee flows over the carafe vs in the carafe and all over the counter. This could be a simple fix but no fix in sight. My review is one of many with similar users if you read the other reviews. I would NOT recommend this product.

Flawed designs

I’ve had for almost a year and it’s still a frustrating experience. Every so often the connection point between the filter basket and carafe fails and spills all over the countertop. Every time I use it, the carafe requires slamming the spout on he coffee cup to open up the flapper so it pours normally. This has happened since day 1 and is commonly reported across forums, so this isn’t an issue of an unclean carafe (to the contrary, I keep it spotless and have tried everything to lubricate the flapper). Just unnecessary frustrations for what is one of the more expensive premium drip coffee makers on the market. Warranty team wanted me to ship the product back so they could review, but given these are frequently documented issues with the design, I suspect they would have just shipped it back and said nothing was wrong. So this review is to make all aware before purchasing.
