What It Does

Beautifully sleek in stainless steel, the Barista Touch Impress streamlines and simplifies espresso drinks for the home barista. The conical burr grinder offers 30 settings, and assisted tamping guarantees a precise, polished puck of grounds every time for even brewing and less mess. The first home espresso machine with automatic settings for non-dairy milk, the Impress froths lush microfoam-automatically adjusted to your desired temperature, texture and type of milk—with the hands-free steam wand. Touchscreen controls offer step-by-step guidance through the grinding, brewing, and steaming process to create exquisite espressos, cappuccinos, lattes and more.

    Not only does the Barista Touch Impress have Auto Milq but the steam wand also operates in Manual Mode for more direct control over milk texture and temperature. The Auto Milq has some guardrails built in that prevent scalding but still provide a good result on temp and texture for various types of milk. The manual mode overcomes those temperature objections for those that like a 160 degree latte as an example. It's sort of the best of both worlds, "Auto Milq" and manual milk in the same steam wand.

Lvoeee it great for beginners

I never been so excited to wake up each morning to do coffee loveee my machines makes everything so easy frm grinding the beans to tamping and even timing your shots absolutely great investment i had made this year!!!

Best Expresso Machine Out There

I absolutely lovemy Breville Expresso. I love how convenient it is. How it does almost everything for you. The coffee is delicious and always fresh. I feel like a barista at home. I am never going back. This is the best purchase I’ve ever made.

Game changer!

Great machine! Compact, looks nice on counter and makes delicious coffee. Lots of options and fun things to learn (espresso, cappuccino, latte, americano, hot cocoa, tea, etc). Saves settings and touch screen is easy to learn how to use. My husband loves it and prefers making coffee at home now. Less costly than the drive through in the long run. Worth it for a special occasion or an avid coffee drinker!

Don't waste your money!

I have gone through two of these machines having issues for both of them not producing any espresso. You will waste bags and bags of beans trying to fix it and will never know if when you wake up wanting a nice latte if you'll get it or not.

I have to say Im a bit disappointed. The name and the price made me more hopeful. I expected consistency at a minimum. One pull after another - first shows +/-30 sec pull, the second is too fast. Same beans, same grind. Ive learned that this is fine in the bigger picture. I didnt think I would have to get a scale and weight the beans and the output. If I could go back I would make a different choice in machine. Dont get me wrong - this works mostly wonderful but the output on the display makes this seem harder than what it should be.

Excellent Coffee!

After looking at several machines, I decided on the Touch Impress and have been very happy with it! It's easy to set up and use and the quality of the drinks has been outstanding. The only concern is with the milk frothing. When going to a higher temp or froth setting, the milk tends to overflown. Otherwise, the frothing works well and the texture is great at the higher settings...just keep an eye on it! I like the automation as it walks me through making a drink, but I like that I can make it the way I want too. It wasn't cheap but the quality of the machine and the drinks is worth it.

Perfect Lattes Almost Hands Free

I previously had the Breville Barista Pro which required a lot more hands on set up etc. I love that this new machine has a tamper that is with a lever and measures if you need more or less beans for the perfect extraction based on the level of the puck. I love that this machine recommended to alter bean grind size based on speed of extraction for the perfect espresso shot. I LOVE the milk thermometer/temp gauge that allows you to steam milk to desired temp per drink. Perfect for those that can’t handle super hot beverages like my sister. I also like how you can alter the amount of micro foam desires as well as choosing which type of milk you are frothing. I love how you can save your customizations for a drink under any title you want for ease of recreating the drink next time. My favorite part is that you can click the button and walk away. No monitoring is needed because you don’t have to hold anything. The machine knows what to do pretty well when you just allow it to do its auto thing.
