Nice daily staple type of chain

This chain is nice because it is well-made, in Italy, with a good lobster clasp and relatively thick oval links. However, it could be shinier. I've bought several other Bloomingdales chains over the past decade and they are all fabulous, always very shiny, all made in Italy, but this one, perhaps because it is a smaller chain and the others I bought were all over $2,000 this one is fine but really needs a blingy sparkly pendent on it to give it more life, but then again that's just my personal preference. For those wanting an understated yet elegant and solidly made chain this is a good choice. It would be good on a man as well as a woman; in fact, it seems more masculine than feminine. The 18 inch length is perfect.

Not bad, but…

This necklace is pretty but very light in weight. Also, the links look a bit larger in the photo.
