This was my first fine jewelry purchase from Bloomingdale’s, and I went back and forth for a while before buying because I was worried I might regret purchasing without seeing the earrings in person. Since they were on sale, I decided to give it a try. When they arrived, I was very happy with them. They look exactly like the pictures online, truly beautiful earrings. The sparkle is just right, not overly flashy but elegant and refined. That said, I was a bit disappointed with the packaging. The box was very plain, and the earrings were placed in a simple white sponge insert, which made them feel less special. For earrings with a regular price of $4,500, I expected much higher-quality packaging, especially since these are meant to be a gift for my daughter’s 18th birthday. Overall, I love the earrings themselves, but I do think Bloomingdale’s could greatly improve the presentation to match the value of the jewelry.
