I ordered this for a work function. Beautiful dress, but I didn’t catch that it runs small - it definitely runs small. Returning as too tight but would be great up a size. Nice neckline and fabric. Very classic.

Runs very small. Not quite as pictured.
Reasonable quality, however it runs very more than two sizes smaller than standard sizing. The neckline does not sit as cleanly as shown, and the cuffs are much more prominent (in size 14-16 at least).

Fantastic fit
This dress is super flattering and comfortable even though it is fitted. I am very pleased with it. It’s classy and sophisticated without being boring or classic. I will get this in other colors and try other Black Halo sheath dresses as well. I purchased size 0. I’m 5’2” 105 lbs.

Flattering but weird fit
I got this dress for an important job interview. The good: It’s flattering and yet looks professional, the asymmetric v-neck gives it just the right edge so it’s not one more boring work dress. It accentuates the curves in a 1950s way, which makes you feel womanly and sexy but still in an office-appropriate way. The bad: the fit is weird. Got it in two sizes due to the online reviews. I’m usually a size 2, so went up and ordered 2 & 4. Size 4 fit well everywhere but not in the sleeves which made me feel I was “suffocated”. Had to go one size up to 6 (!) as I knew that sleeve would drive me crazy. But then the whole dress is large on me, and I will have to spend more money in alterations. I wish Bloomie or the brand had this service as a courtesy, as this should not be happening. Two additional things that could be improved: - The belt looks cheap; - The fabric is not amazing but I bought it anyway. They could look into making it either more sturdy or strec and nicer to the touch.
