Definitely chunky, but cute & mostly comfy

I wanted a summer sandal that I could wear into the office and around NYC so covering my toes was important and being decently off the ground was also important. These are heavy but they're really cute (woman ran up to me to compliment them/ask what they were called on their first day out), especially with colorful socks, and after about 2 days of breaking in they've been quite comfortable (after 3ish weeks of heavy wear, it still rubs against my left ankle occasionally so sometimes I need to slap on a blister band-aid). I can generally walk 10k in these with relative ease, but I'd probably reach for something else for a 20k+ steps day.
