The zipper broke on the detachable bottom the second time I used this bag. Neither Beis or Bloomingdales were helpful at advising me on how to repair or replace the damage. I was excited to invest in higher quality luggage, but this item was a huge waste of money.
Good but limited
I bought despite recommendations against it. It doesn’t close nicely at the top. It is large if taking on a plane as your personal item with the shoe bag. However it’s easier to organize and does fit a lot. Heaviness isn’t really an issue

Two broken bags in less than four months...
Welp, I guess you get what you pay for.... I purchased this bag and was so excited when I received it, it was the perfect size and I could get so much in it. Unfortunately, I used it for just over 2 months and the bottom corners all started to peel off. I reached out to Beis Customer Care and they couldn't care less. I ended up receiving a replacement from Bloomingdales. I was hopeful that the original was just a fluke, however, within two uses, less than a month of having the second one, the main zipper pull not only popped off the track but the zipper came detached from the fabric. Overall, these are just incredibly poor quality. Save your money and just buy a Briggs and Riley instead.
When you just want a carry-on!
The perfect travel bag when you just want a small roller bag and a satchel. Avoid the checked bags and zip in and out of the airports. I love the ability to remove the bottom compartment, still zipped closed, so what you packed in there stays put, and have the bag for hustling about the local village.

Super excited to try
I haven’t been able to use it yet so I’m not sure how I will like it fully but as of now I love it. I’m definitely sold on the convertible version due to the bottom detaching and the laptop sleeve that comes out. I love how many pockets there are so I’m not digging around aimlessly. The trolley sleeve was the reason I even came across the bag because I was looking for the most convenient travel option.

Love this bag
My daughter wanted the weekender. I bought it for her and after she used it she felt it was too big. Then she wanted to try this one, but she felt terrible asking because we had just purchased the other. I told her I often have 2 of same bag in different sizes for different purposes. We picked it up and she absolutely loves it. She said it's perfect. It fits under the seat in front of her on an airplane. The bottom zips off if she doesn't need it full sized. She just took it on a weekend trip to (flew from NY to FL) and she is still thanking me. If I knew it would be so easy to make her this happy, I would have bought this bag for her a long time ago!

This is an attractive and functional piece of luggage. The bottom can be detached which is a p0lus. Absolutely love the bag.
