I actually thought that this lovely blazer type of open jacket would be a softer orange shade of a melon/peach coral - yes, coral! This came out of the box looking like orange work zone cones - but - upon trying it on - it works! I did order the large - I usually order an XL - since this was not available - I went with the large which is ok as a bolero concept open jacket. The color is quite shocking! However, it makes a drab overcast day brighten up! I will wear it with a sharp contrast white tank or tee and blue faded jeans or shorts. I tend to purchase blazers/jackets as my statement pieces as I can be subdues in my basic attire - but love to wear them with shoes that are statements..hence, a look that becomes an uptick in fashion. I will definitely contrast the color with a navy or dark green bag - black will make it Halloween pumpkin in neon - and that is not a good look. It is not an upscale detailed jacket - at the price I thought it will be fine - and it is..It is meant to be a cover for the heavy a/c we have in the desert climates of the USA. Our rock formations have a rust orange color and this emphasizes the look. It is true to size, and crisp looking! The fabric will be able to have a no wrinkle approach as it is not natural based. A scarf of various contrast tones can complete this look taking you away from the overpowering neon orange that is work zone orange. Enjoy it - good quality for the price and a fun addition to your wardrobe..just do think it is coral!
