Jacket is great but awful exchange experience

I ordered this jacket for my husband for his birthday. The jacket is beautiful, and runs slightly large but I would recommend ordering directly from Barbour, not Bloomingdales. I bought this jacket in mid-March. First, Bloomingdales lost the original package and had to send another one which delayed the delivery. The jacket was then too big, so I went to exchange it. I sent it back late-March. Bloomingdales did not give me an option to exchange the item, so I had to get a reimbursement for it. It took 4 days to get to them, took them 14 days to "receive" it, and then another 10 business days to process the return, then another 10 days to get my money back (still have not received it). I have reached out multiple times, and they connect me to a new customer service agent each time, so no progress has been made. I asked for a gift card, and they said that that would take an ADDITIONAL 10-14 business days to receive. All in all, this exchange will probably take over 45 days to complete.
