Beautiful lightweight jacket!
I wanted a lightweight quilted jacket that I could layer with sweaters underneath if needed, and this fit the bill. I’m usually a medium US 6 or UK 10, but read Barbour runs small, so I sized up to US 8/UK 12 and it’s perfection! I could’ve gone with my usual size, but don’t think a sweater could’ve fit underneath as comfortably. This also has a swing kind of fit, which is a departure from my quilted Burberry jackets. Color is just as shown in the pictures, a dark cherry. I was a bit surprised that each front panel of the jacket was different—one smooth and the other thin whale corduroy, with opposite material for the pockets. Normally I would not go for this sort of thing, but it’s very subtle so it wasn’t a deal breaker. Overall a beautiful jacket, and I look forward to wearing it!

This is an absolutely gorgeous coat. The color is divine. I must caution you that it runs very large. Sized down at least one size. I’m currently looking for sweaters to match this coat and hope to wear it almost a year round.

Ran large
This was a lovely jacket but it was much larger than I thought it would be. These run large I suppose. I had already sized down but now I need to go down two sizes. There was enough room for three sweaters underneath!

Finally a winner!
This is my third attempt to purchase a Barbour jacket on-line and it finally fits. My usual size is an 8 but I purchased a size 10, which admittedly runs slightly large, but it looks great. Just the right length falling at hip level. I have found Barbour sizes are random and unreliable. Have tried all sizes and styles from 8 to 12. Sleeves are too tight in some designs. Disproportionately large in other designs. So now I am happy and have a winner.

warmer than I thought
I sized down and still had plenty of room. I am one of those people who never wear a coat. I have been wearing this in 10-20F weather and found it pretty warm. Love the mismatch.
