    In 1917, one of the most storied and influential houses in fashion history was founded in San Sebastian, Spain, by Basque-born couturier Cristóbal Balenciaga. A move to Paris in 1937 paved the way for Balenciaga to step into the international spotlight, as the master tailor and visionary designer debuted a slew of now-iconic sculptural silhouettes from cocoon coats to tunic dresses, before retiring in 1968 and effectively closing the house's doors for decades. Along with Nicolas Ghesquière, who served an award-winning stint at the label's helm from 1997 until 2012, current creative director and Vetements cofounder Demna Gvasalia is widely credited with reviving the house to its former glory. Inspired by both the Balenciaga archives and modern streetwear aesthetics, Gvasalia creates highly covetable pieces like sock sneakers and logo-print totes.

Horrible

For some reason I always have a bad experience with Bloomingdales. They sent me a pair of shoes that had a previous owner and charge me full price $1166.00 they or scraped up, dirty on the bottom, smell like Doritos im so blown because I ordered them to wear to a sneakers and blazer event now I have to change my whole outfit I hate Bloomingdales I have pics to prove but this review is not giving me options to post pics

I never recieved item and now that I'm looking at the reviews I can see I'm not only one I've called several times to customer service and still nothing the shoe is now unavailable hopefully they come to resolution soon

Didn’t get them, just a box

I received a box dust bag and receipt but no sneakers. Bought for myself for VDY hoping Bloomingdale’s fix this. Had to reorder from Balenciaga since that was the last size in the color I wanted.
