Lovely balm, but expensive!

Really like this lip balm, but I do find it a touch too expensive unless it’s on offer. Colour is nice and subtle, and it is very hydrating - but there are other lip products that have a similar result for much less! Having said that, I do reach for this a lot, so would be a lovely treat if you’re looking to indulge.

The perfect lip product

I rarely leave reviews but was so so pleased with this lip balm! I love them so much I have bought multiples of shade 1 and 2 every time it’s on sale! Obsessed with how easy it is to wear and just adds a subtle bit of colour and hydration. I’ve pretty much transitioned to only using these day to day, it’s perfect if you don’t like wearing too much lipstick but still want a bit of colour. I’ve found it quite long lasting and you can apply it without a mirror on the go as it’s quite subtle. Probably my fav product this year! Would not be without it

Beautiful color and packaging!

This lip balm is a beautiful color when it goes on and I love the packaging. My only issue is that it isn't quite as moisturizing on my lips as I had hoped. To be honest, I have yet to find a tinted balm from any brand that is moisturizing as my lips are chronically dry. This was a fun splurge - treat yourself!

Great lipstick alternative

I'm not a fan of strong lip colour and tend to go for a tint or gloss. I purchased this on a bit of a whim and I'm very glad I did. I have yellow tones in my skin and all three shades seemed to work OK - I landed with number 2. The colour is buildable but what I like the most is the moisturising effect. A lot of lip balms sit on top of the lips but this one seems to have actives that get to work deeper than the surface. Yes, it wears of quite quickly (like any lip balm) but I've enjoyed using it and will be back for more.

Bad lip balm with odd color/odor & slimy texture

Terrible lip balm. The color is odd and unflattering. And worst of all - the balm itself is slimy & thick, with a terrible odor. The odor itself was so nauseating that I had to remove it after a minute. This is extremely disappointing from the Augustinus Bader brand. I'm normally a big Augustinus Bader fan as I find its rich cream produces amazing results on my face. So I thought the company's lip balm would be equally amazing - and was deeply disappointed.
