    Apply a dime-size amount to damp skin. Gently massage in circular motions to create a rich lather. Rinse thoroughly. Follow with your Augustinus Bader skincare routine. Can be used as a second step in a double cleanse.

Sample size

Been using a 'sample' size for a few nights and must admit so far I am not blown away. Like other on here I have found that it doesn't 'foam' as much as I expected...so I applied more...but still the same! I didn't find it removed all of my make up and my skin felt tight which I most certainly didn't expect....considering the price. Don't think I will be purchasing this one I am afraid....

Perfect cleanser for combination skin

I love this cleanser; I've bought it twice previously. It has a nice cream-to-foam texture and isn't heavily scented, which is perfect for my sensitive skin. As someone with combination skin that's also sensitive, this is the only cleanser I've found that leaves my skin feeling clean without completely stripping it.

Why so many bad reviews?

This cleanser is perfect! I am a Bader enthusiast, tried almost everything they do in skincare. This product really does deliver what it promises: great for makeup removal in one step, leaves my skin nourished, smells wonderful, really does reduce sebum production! Can be used day and nigth and in 3 months I have never felt itching, dryness or that my face has been cleansed way too much and stripped off all the moisture. It never makes my skin feel tight, and other cleanser really do. People comment that it does not foam: you should be aware that this a creamy,skincare infused, very lightly foaming cleanser : you cannot expect it to foam like a detergent, soap or liquid cleanser. It is very pricey, but i love the smell, the results and the investment in my skincare routine. Also, one bottle last for 3 month one you learn how little product you actually need. Highly reccomen!

Not for me

I received a few samples of this and didn't make it past using the first one. The product didn't foam, didn't remove makeup very well and left my skin feeling quite tight. My skin is usually quite robust and I routinely use products that require me to wash my face with water, so I can only put the tightness down to this formula. It may work better for oilier skin-types? The only plus was that there's no nasty fragrance.

Great cleanser

I received a sample of this from an Augustinus Bader counter and went in to purchase the full size from Space NK. Although it is not a super foamy cleanser it does lather up enough to feel that you’re washing your face properly. My skin feels fresh and clean afterwards without too much tightness and I find it really helps the areas suffering menopausal breakouts. Not sure if this would suit very dry skin but it’s ideal for me. After a full face of make up I would use a balm or gel make up remover before this cleanser, which then does a great job of removing any residue. Star off for price.

Could be more foamy

I did not find the scent particularly strong or much evidence of a foam however I did enjoy using this product and the feel of my skin on contact. It is a luxury price so you would expect the consistency to feel luxurious which it did if my face was only slightly damp. You really need to wash the product off thoroughly though as afterwards on occasions I did feel that a residue had remained. Making my serum more difficult to absorb. Not sure if I would repurchase.
