I had some sensitivity to this
I use a lot of facial oils, and have dry skin, so I'm always keen to try one. This is a thick viscous oil and I think you would need very dry skin to enjoy it. I did not find it was really absorbed by my skin, but stayed on the surface until I cleansed it off again, and I did not enjoy the heavy oily feel this gave, it was quite unpleasant. When I kept on using it my skin got more uncomfortable every time I used it, so I have never kept this beyond a couple of uses as each time it is clear my skin was starting to react. Over the last couple of years I've had some samples and recently a couple of 10ml bottles, but they have all smelled at least slightly stale when opened. I think this is because the first (and greatest) ingredient is grape seed oil. This is a poor oil for skincare as it is not really absorbed by the skin (it is often used in massage, to provide slip), but it is cheap. Unfortunately it also oxidises (goes stale) very quickly and is notoriously unstable at higher (basically summer or heated room) temperature or in fluctuating temperature (central heating again). My skin is very sensitive to stale oils (they give me eczema) and it does not matter how good the other ingredients may be if the base oil is even slightly stale. Given the cost of this product, I feel it is very disappointing that the main ingredient is a cheap unstable oil, and I would not recommend this to anyone.

Spritzer that refreshes hydrated and firms up !
This is a fabulous skin hydrating spritzer . It’s a new skin line to me and was so pleased with the eye serum as my first purchase I wanted to try other products from this line. This product spritzes a bit forceful vs a fine mist but it very much gives that hydrated refreshed feel to your face and feels firmed up too. I spent 5 hours walking NYC in cold windy weather in February , gave my face a spritz and voila ! I looked refreshed and hydrated ! Love this product.

I received a deluxe size sample of this which is one third of the size of full size. I’ve reached for it a few times but failed to finish it before it needs to be disposed of. I think this speaks volumes about how I found this product, for the price point I don’t think it’s any better than alternative face oils at a lower PP.

Maybe not extraordinary for combination/oily skin
While I had combination/oily skin for the majority of my life, with age and colder seasons it is getting drier and drier. Even in hotter months, I absolutely love Augustinus Bader's Rich Cream, so when I got this in a goodie bag, I was happy to try it out. And it is good - it's a lightweight oil, it sinks in reasonably fast, you wake up with nice skin in the morning. But for my particular skin type, I can't say I noticed any added value to my routine.

Was hoping I didn’t love this
But.:. I do! I don’t usually get on with face oils, I do have dry skin but anything too heavy seems to congest it and it feels too heavy and clogged. This is perfect, light and non greasy and you only need a tiny amount to have a gorgeous glow. Will definitely repurchase but I can’t see the little bottle running out anytime soon! Good because very spenny so only 4 star

I really liked this oil for my combination skin, especially in the cold season. The skin is immediately saturated with moisture, moisturized, smoothes fine wrinkles, absorbs quickly, does not leave a film on the face, does not clog pores, has a pleasant aroma and low consumption

I like it but i dont love it
I really wanted to love this face oil but it wasn't exactly what i expected. it did give me a lovely glow but i think it may have caused me to break out. It also took quite a long time to soak in to my skin which made my face feel greasy for a while which i did not like

Augustinus Bader Oil
Tried this in a sample, first time using this product. I usually use Sarah Chapman's products all the time. I loved it's quality on the skin, rich and hydrating. I would like to buy a bottle and also try a facial at the clinic. The products are as they say, definitely full of richness and work on the skin.
