Very Happy MOB with this dress
If you are looking for that ‘special Mother of the Bride or Groom dress’ this is it. I went to the Specialty Stores and they all wanted to make me look like Mrs. Doubtfire! This is simple, elegant and quite comfortable. I am 5’5” 128lbs (age 63) And size 8 fit perfectly. The interesting ‘fishtail’ ‘train’ can be easily tucked up in a French bustle for the Reception and dancing. Add a pretty, sparkly belt (which you can easily get at the Bridal shops) and you have a winner. I also had a seamstress put some ‘stiffening material’ under the portrait collar to keep it from sagging/wrinkling and that was a key improvement. I confess, I received many compliments from wedding guests, which confirmed it was the right choice. Best wishes!
