Cute, but cashmere is thin and stretches-out easily and pills quickly

I was so excited to get this in the mail. Color is pretty, and the cut outs on the arms are very cute. But the material is very thin, and after just one time wearing, there was excessive pilling of the cashmere. I know cashmere pills, but after just one wear and zero washing, I was concerned about the overall quality long term. Sweater was expensive, and for the price, I didn't think it was a great value, so it's going back. I normally wear a medium, but it was super roomy.
