Nice sweater but size up

I bought this sweater in a size XXL based on the size chart and never regretted it although I am a size XL. I took 2 colors, the brown and the navy. The brown is a luscious color that can also pass for dark aubergine, and the navy is equally rich. The cashmere is a bit rougher than the usual higher-end cashmere but the sweater is still cozy and comfortable. I also like the high raglan cuffs, it's a nice touch and a point of difference from other basic cashmere sweaters. It definitely looks better in darker colors and now I wish I had taken the dark green color too! As a last note, the sweater is great compared to a store brand I bought from Bloomingdales about 10 years ago. Better fitted and a normal length, whereas the old one was a disaster and too too short!

I wanted to love this sweater

I wanted to love this sweater, but oh my goodness it is itchy! I didn’t have it on long as I simply tried it on with a few blazers, but by the time I took it off, my entire neck had red whelped up lines down it. I’ve never been sensitive to wool or cashmere or any other material, so I am not sure what the cause is with this one, maybe the dye? Maybe cheap material…? sadly, I have to return it. The dark brown is more like a burgundy fudge… I purchased it to go under some brown wool blazers and it simply did not match, because it leans more burgundy than brown. Even still, it is a beautiful color and the fit is far more flattering than I had anticipated.

Basic cashmere turtleneck

Good basic turtleneck but gauge seems thin. Bought the C cashmere turtleneck as well, and that fit and gauge seem better (though they were priced the same)
