Pretty dress but inaccurate size chart

The size chart for this dress doesn’t reflect the actual sizing. I went by the size chart and everything was minimum 2 inches too big compared to what was provided on the Bloomingdales website. Normally this brand runs a bit small, so I’m not sure what is going on with the sizing guidance provided vs. the actual dress’s cut. I was literally swimming in the dress and it wasn’t even something that could be fixed with tailoring, I would literally have to gain about 70 lbs to properly fill out the dress. Also, while the dress is beautiful, it looks and feels a little cheap compared to how it looks on the model.
