Improve Quality Control
I loved the boots however they arrived damaged. The leather had grey spots on them and I had to send them back. I re-ordered them for a 100 less at Nordstoms. Quality control miss..

Nice, but a little disappointing
Returned … sad face. They are nights, but the fit in comfort were a bit disappointing. I didn’t see. The value of what I was gonna be paying for.

LOVE these boots! they can dress up or down an outfit - but will without a doubt look polished and cool. Very comfortable. If you are between sizes order half size up. Easy to slide on and off.

Very Tall+Size Up+Nice Almond Toe+Not Too Clompy
Lug sole boots can be a tricky buy for us larger footed people to find but if you are 5ft8 or over, have 15.5 in or narrower calves and narrow-ish feet, these boots are for you. The toe box is a nice almond shape and not too clompy looking but as other reviewers have stated, getting these on & off is a nightmare (a hidden black back zip would remedy that) and i've got narrow / flat feet. If you've got a high instep, forget it. They're nice and tall - from the floor to the back of the knee is almost 18inches. They are a lighter weight boot & the leather quality is just ok & slightly matte but I bet some black shoe polish and a buff would achieve a bit of a shine. Foot size runs a bit small so order a size up. Even though they are a nightmare to get on and off, the more slim-lined almond toe make these a great lug sole boot option for larger feet as even in a size 11 they didn't look ridiculously clompy (I was not looking for a 90's Spice Girls / Frankenstein boot) but just the perfect proportion and on trend. Back the 11's go - on the hunt for 12's.
