They will see and "hear" you coming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have received great comments from co-workers about how good they look. They are comfortable but I wish they didn't squeak when I walk on marble, tile, and hardwood floors.

A Big Improvement

I own two pair of the original Randolph loafer/sneaker and like but not love them. The toe box was a little long in those, and the cup sole wasn’t thick enough. Both those issues have now been corrected in the 2.0, which is great. Now, -PLEASE- offer a black sole in all the different leathers and also in the Park Avenue 2.0 sneaker and I’ll buy a few more. Also, the insoles that came with the Randolph had sharper edges than I’m used to, so I swapped them out for a pair of AE insoles that I had bought but not yet used. Not a big deal but just take a look at the new insoles.

So glad I took the chance on these!

Shout to Cam at the Rockefeller location for helping me zero in on the fit! I’ve only worn these twice. They are comfortable, stylishly subdued with the sneaker sole yet versatile enough to wear causally to business casual. The fit is the most important. I have semi wide feet. For example I’m an 8.5E on the 65 last yet on other lasts I’m a 8.5D (Landon boots, Freeport loafers) or 9D (Higgins Mill, Steen loafers). When it comes to the new Randolph loafers such as these or the bit loafers or Liverpool Chelsea boots I’m a 9E yet on the OG Randolph I’m an 8.5E. I hope this puts more context in finding the best fit for yourself. There were no noticeable quality issues although your mileage will very.

Awesome new design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new design. I have several of the original pairs but the new design looks much better and the sole is higher quality.

Nice update to Randolph sneaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice update to the Randolph sneaker. My previous Randolph sneakers sit in my closet due to fit issues, but these are far better. Materials and look are both great; nice and contemporary and sleek enough for dressier pants without being too sleek for denim. Only complaint with AE continues to be that some toe boxes can be a little narrow, particularly in loafers. These are slightly narrower than I'd like through the ball of the foot; jumping to an E width makes the whole shoe (including instep) too wide so had to stick with a D width but I think these are soft enough to be comfortable long-term.

These 2.0 Sport Sole is Really Comfortable!

I'm loving loafers lately, and this particular style caught my eye because of its slip-on loafer look. The sporty sole is a nice modernization of this style and makes it feel more upscale. I own a few of the original Park Avenue Sneaker Original - which is a lower profile sneaker sole and love them. I was surprised with just how much more comfortable this 2.0 sole is from that original sole. I'm so happy with this darker burnishing which makes the leather really elegant.

A Major Step Forward in the Casual Sneaker Offer

One of the best things about these sneakers is how versatile they are between both casual and light dress outfits. I’ve worn them to work, worn them through the airport and later that same day for a night out without needing to change my outfit because they are so versatile. I really love how distinct the sole is, and I think it really adds to the performance of it too. The slide on is easy and fits exactly true to size during wear too. Great shoes for fall jeans and mixes in well with blazers/sweater combos too.
