3 quart double boiler insert

Works as it was intended for, preventing the heat from the pan below it escaping out around the rim of the boiling water pan and thus allowing you to keep a low slow heat maintained to slowly melt or warm its contents. It will work with the three or four quart sauce pans as they are the same diameter.

Fondue helper

Excellent double boiler used for fondues and gentle warming - fits perfectly into our pot - a sister to the excellent steamer insert of which we own two - one thirty years old and looks perfect for its age.

Very disappointed

Chinese made products!

I was very disappointed to learn that the double boiler was produced in China. If you need lower labor costs for your products, please set up factories in friendly countries. There are several in the Americas that would be suitable. Please reconsider your partners.
